The Pablo de Olavide University has published the following article about us.

In the article they mention the results published in the journal Scientific Report which show important differences related to the polarity of the applied current and the appearance of long-term effects, allowing the improvement of the stimulation protocols currently used in the treatment of various neurological diseases.
The article entitled Immediate and after effects of transcranial direct-current stimulation in the mouse primary somatosensory cortex proves that the effects induced by transcranial electrical stimulation with anodal and cathodal current may not be symmetrical, and that short- and long-term effects may differ within the same polarity. The study delves into the mechanisms that produce these effects and points to the neurotransmitter GABA as a possible pharmacological target to enhance the effects of this technique.
